The automotive and heavy equipment industries are inextricably linked to the use of tires in their operations. Vehicles like bicycles, motorcycles, and cars all utilize tires to support their mobility. Heavy equipment like trucks, wheel loaders, motor graders, and other heavy equipment require a variety of tire tread patterns to suit the terrain and their needs. Reflecting this reality, the demand for tire production naturally continues to increase.
Recycling motorcycle tire waste can be done in several ways, such as processing it into alternative fuels (through pyrolysis) or processing it into new products like rubber crumb for new tires, construction materials (asphalt, concrete), or fuel. Tires can also be used intact for civil engineering projects such as breakwaters or retaining walls.
